Hi, Is this a good amp? I done some searching and find alot of info on the zed designs, was wondering if this later model still had quality or is it more like a Maxxsonics.

It is not the quality of the ZED products.  But it is not near as bad as the Maxxsonics stuff.  There was a brief (2 years I think) period between the Zed and Maxxsonics era, but definitely not as good as the Zed stuff.

The only info I can find states that it is a 2 x 225 watt amplifier.  From the era that amp was made, they were rated with their 4 ohm per channel rating.  So I am sure that it is rated at 225 x 2 into 4 ohms.  that would be 450 x 1 into an 8 ohm load.  The guessing comes in to play on the following .  2 x 300 into 2 ohms.  which would translate into 600 X 1 into 4 ohms.

After looking at the specs of some of the other series XI amplifiers, the 2 ohm per channel rating was probably 350 X 2 into 2.  This would translate into 700 X 1 into 4 Ohms.
