Been awhile since i have logged in, but i have a question. A friend of mine just gave me an old AMP to put in my boat. Here is the internet info:
    * 165 watts RMS x 2 at 4 ohms
    * 200 watts x 2 at 2 ohms
    * 400 watts x 1 bridged output at 4 ohms
    * stereo or bridged mono output
    * 4-ohm stable in bridged mode
    * Tri-Way capable
    * requires 4-gauge power and ground leads wiring and hardware not included with amplifier
    * MOSFET power supply and output stages
    * 50-300 Hz low-pass filter, 12 dB/octave
    * preamp- and speaker-level inputs
    * gold-plated connectors
    * variable bass boost (0-10 dB) centered at 40 Hz
    * 15-3/16"W x 2-1/4"H x 10-1/4"D

I am looking at getting buy with a 12 and 2 6x9's to get some sound in the boat. Of course nothing spectacular but with a some noise would be great. Other then getting rid of this amp (free is just the right price) what would you buy to achieve the above goal. Also a quick how to on the wiring would be great.

Thanks
Andrew

Use this amp to drive a 4-ohm SVC subwoofer (or a 2-ohm DVC subwoofer wired for 4-ohms).  Then drive your 6X9's off whatever you're using as a head unit, or get a second stereo amp for them.
