wiring door speakers

Hello,

I am setting up to wire several new speakers into my doors and I have a question.

When wiring groups or speakers together from the same amp channel is the impedance as critical as with subs? I am planning to run 2- 6", 2- 5x7, 2- 4" and 2 tweets with the 4s and tweets on one amp and the 6s on another. Should I be wiring the groups in series to keep the ohms up or not worry about it to much. I am using a RF T8004 to power the larger front speakers and a smaller second amp for the others. The 6s Im running are 4ohm, the amp is 1 ohm stable but I am concerned about too much power going down the line to the smaller speakers. I think an 8 ohm load would be ideal and I can do the math for that but Im not sure if Im over thinking this a little.

Not going below the amp's safe operating impedance is realy more critical on a Highs amp than it is on the sub amp.  Reason being, the highs amp is always playing, where as the bass amp usually has portions of the song in which it is not producing any sound.  These dead times allow for recovery and heat dissipation.
