I wasn't exactly sure where to send this or who to ask, but I have a question about my car stereo's wiring. I have recently bought a used 4 door 1993 Ford Explorer. It has an Aiwa CD receiver and the ONLY speakers it has is two tweeters in the front and 2 (10" or so) subwoofers in the back. As you can tell, this isn't exactly a well balanced system. I was wondering how to hook up my factory door speakers. I know that the door speakers do work, but I'm not sure which wires I need to put where. Is there any only guide or way you can help me hook up these speakers. I would really appreciate ANY help. Thanks very much for your time. Please reply if you can help or just offer any info.

Thanks
    -Michael

You'll need to make sure the wiring from the Aiwa deck is connected properly to the harness or the factory wiring of the ford.  The wiring colors of the ford you can find here:

The colors for the Aiwa should match up with these if the Aiwa was made in the last 4 or 5 years.

Thanks alot essmith, but the aiwa link didn't match up to the correct spot, it took me to the same place as the other link, but the other link was very helpful. So, I'm a little new to this site and don't know where to look. Could you please post that link again?
