i set front channels bridged@ 1 ohm. using 2 ED 7kv.2's , gain set 1/4, ( kept it low) ran clean for aproximatly 15 min. now my power LED flashes. amp was not hot, fuse not blown, double checked proper voltage from remote lead. ( i was told these amps need proper remote voltage.) im stumped. anyone know what the flashing led meens, diagnostic code perhaps?

These ED speakers, are they woofers? Is that amp capable of 1/2 ohm per channel?

I am not at all familiar with your amp, but the only thing I can figure is that is it's version of a protection light.
If yoiu can remove the cover and take a picture of the circuit board, I may be able to help you troubleshoot the amp.

DO NOT EVER APPLY POWER TO THIS AMP WITH THE BOTTOM COVER REMOVED.
The 24 devices at the bottom of the picture are the output transistors. There should be (6) 2n6487 and (6) 2n6490 per channel. Using a digital meter set to the diode test function, place and hold one lead on the metal tab of the device, Now touch the other lead to first the leftmost leg of the same device. Notice that reading. Move the lead from the leftmost leg to the rightmost leg. Notice that reading. Check one transistor in each group. Post readings of all 4.
