yes my subs go boom when i cut volume down to certin level or cut hu off. i have 1/0 wire running to 3 batterys in the rear off my truck . they have a 1/0 ground to a bolt on the boddy that on the other end of that has a 1/0 to the frame. i was told it could be a remote wire bad because i have my bass amp turning on with a relay so it might be a bad relay they tell  me..  i dont think im over looking anything but please give me some insight on this...

Why are you turning on the remote wire with a relay? You have an amp remote wire on the radio that I would tag off of. Do the subs also pop when you turn the head-unit on? Or only when you turn it off? A lot of sub pops can be solved by putting a resistor inline with the remote wire.

With the radio on and the volume at zero, remove the remote wire from that amp, does it pop?
