All,

Does anyone know if I should be able to connect the headphone output of my MP3 Player to the Audio In/Gnd of my 04 GMC Sierra ?

I used the pin-outs from the 04 Escalade (H, J, and K) and tried it, but didn't get anything. The unit in the truck does show "Aux" on the BAND/CD button.

I'm wondering if the unit needs to have it enabled internally (through software) ?

Thanks.

I'd probably try a module like something from USA-SPEC or Peripheral. I've used both. USA-SPEC seems to be more reliable, but the Peripheral integrates a little better.

that aux i think is typically used for factory satellite radio. as stated above they do make input adapter modules that give you a bunch of options like ipod, usb, and standard headphone jack input.
