What would be the best way to wire these subs with this amp? Could i wire them to 4 ohms load to get a good sq? I have wiring diagrams to wire them to a 4 ohm load or 1 ohm load but dont know which one i would get the best sq out of. Im not looking for a ton of bass just good sq.
KAC-9105D Class D car amplifier
Number of Channels 1 - Mono
RMS Power (4 ohms) 500 watts x 1 channel
RMS Power (2 ohms) 900 watts x 1 channel
RMS Power (1 ohm) >900 watt x 1 channel
Bridged RMS Power Not Bridgeable
Total RMS Power Output 900 watts
Peak Power Output 1800 watts x 1 channel
Total Peak Power Output 1800 watts
Minimum Impedance Unbridged 1 ohms
Pioneer Champion subwoofers
Subwoofer Size 12"
Voice Coil(s) Dual
Impedance (per voice coil) 4 ohms
RMS Power Handling 400 watts
Peak Power Handling 1400 watts
A 4 ohm load will be 4 times easier on your amp. Wire it like that and if you have enough bass, then leave it that way. If it is not enough bass you may have to wire them to 1 ohm.
Or you could do both:

If you are going for sq just go with the 4 ohm setting. I would think your system would be pretty unbalanced with 900 watts of bass unless you have your other speakers amplified. If you are just running your other speakers of your head unit then 500 watts of bass is more than enough.

To the OP... I agree with everybody else. Go with 4-ohms, the amp will run cooler with less distortion, and your damping will be higher. You will also have less than a 3dB difference in output between the 4-ohm load, and the 1-ohm load.

Contradictions in terms, there, amigo. HiFonics USED to be close to OK, stuff. But now? Mid-range Swap-O-Rama gear, at best.
