connect ipod to stock gm stereo

Hello, I'm looking for some advice on different ways to hook up an iPod to my stock radio in my 2010 Silverado. I have OnStar, but no CD player, no satellite radio, and (sigh) no AUX input plug.

I've tried FM transmitters and I don't like them. I've also found items like this :

Does anyone have experience doing something like this?

Does the radio have a "CAT" or "XM" button ? If not I've installed the      IS77 from iSimple and this works very well.

If you do have the CAT or XM button, then you can use the ISGM571.

The radio doesn't have those buttons, so I was wondering how that solution would work. The IS77 looks like what I need.

Just wanted to post a follow up - I've installed the IS77 and it works very well.

Just wanted to offer a heads-up to anyone else that might want to do this that the antenna cable for the IS77 is what I would call 'normal' (in that the antenna connector looks like all the other antenna connectors I've ever seen until now :-) ), but the GM stereo had a different style of connector. I was able to buy adapters from a local stereo install shop fairly easily, though.

Sorry I don't know the correct terminology for the style(s) of plugs/connectors.

They're called antenna adapters. FM modulators use a Motorola (universal) style antenna plug. GM and Chrysler are the two big domestics that use different antennas. Ford has picked up on it now too. So you need antenna adapters (which is what you picked up). Forward and reverse antenna adapters are needed for most FM modulator installs.
