I'm installing a Crunch PZT900.4 amp into a 2003 VW Jetta.  The amp will be installed with a maxxsonics MX-2 inline converter.  I plan on running the amp 3 channel.  Soundstream 1o" sub on the bridged channel.  I need some assistence with wiring the door speakers.  The rear will be Alpine SPS-500 coax.  The front will be SPR-13s.  Both sets are 3.6 ohm.  The SPS-500 are 55 w RMS and 110w peak.  The SPR-13s are 110w RMS and 300w peak.  The amp pushes 115w @ 4 ohms or 225w @2 ohms.  I plan on running Door speakers in a series.  Will this work?  This is just a starter stereo for my 16 year old son.

Your speakers are 4 ohm.  They read 3.6 when using an ohm meter.  You can wire them in series but the amp will produce about 60 watts per channel into an 8 ohm load.  The amp will run 2 ohm per channel.

Is that a problem?  If it is, what do you suggest?

There is no problem with you wiring them in series.  If they are loud enough wired in series, then it is fine to run them that way.  If they are not as loud as you wish, you may want to look into running them in parallel.
