right now in my 92 grand marquis i have a jvc headunit i dont what exact model or anything, and i can get a free jenson headunit from a totaled car, the reason i was lookin at it is because it has a usb port. but generaly is jvc better then jenson or vice versa?

jvc is a better brand name than jenson. but better depends on the performance of the unit

JVC and jensen? apples and oranges my friend. JVC is a much higher quality unit than any jensen. a warning to you would be to make sure it works and to make sure that usb is not a "charge only" usb. if it is charge only then you will still need an add-on cable or box to play an ipod.
