On 2000 Chevy Suburban, hooked up aftermarket cd player, no sound through any speaker... Tryed hooking up directly to the speaker, works... sound coming out the speaker... Is there maybe factory amp wire that I need to hook up, or what?  where would the amp be located if I have one?  Maybe its fryed.... Please help...

Thank you!

There is possiby a factory amp.  It is located behind the glove compartment.  If the stock radio had sound, the amp should be fine.  It should be as simple as turning the factory amp on.  My installers tell  me that some of them have to be bypassed.  I think it is just that they want the extra 25 dollars labor.  Somebody here may be abe to tell us what color the amp turn on wire is.

if there is an amp turn on wire it is probably pink on the factory radio plug.

little thin harness that you're not using. it will be either a pink or green wire.
