I have a set of JL Audio C2's components im using for my front stage with a JL 300/4 but i blew a mid , I was wondering if i could replace the mid range woofers with some D series 2 way pioneer's cause they are all i have right now rather then buy a new set of C2's. They sound really good alone would hooking them up to the jl crossover cancel the pioneers tweeter out?

It may or may not work... Seriously.

It will FUNCTION, guaranteed, but if the impedance curve of the mid is not very close in character to the blown driver, your results will certainly not be optimal.

If you are going to replace, I very highly suggest replacing both of the original woofers (not just one...), and I think your overall results will be much more acceptable.
