i installed a Jensen VM9314 into a customers car and im having a problem with the XM radio. I bought the add on from audiovox that plugs into the back so it should be fine but when the radio is on i cant click on the XM button. Its darker then all the other buttons that i can click on. Everything else works Navi, radio dvd. Is there something i didnt do to make it work. Thanks in advance.

Sonce connecting the XM unit, have you hit the reset button (if it has one). or disconnected the yellow wire for a minute or two? Some units only look for peripherals at initial power up. If it had no XM at that time, it may not know that it is now connected. Disconnect the memory wire or the battery.

i tried that i disconnected it for like 20 mins and there is a reset button on the front which i pushed in and it still doesnt show up.
