hello,

i just bought a set of 6 1/2 JL speakers for the front doors of my 02 Jetta. i took my old philips stock speakers out. the stock speakers have a spacer about 4" thick built onto them. without this my speaker touches the window when it is down and i dont think a small, homemade spacer will bring the speaker close enough to the immer door panel to sound as good. is there any aftermarket spacers out there that wont cost me an arm and a leg?

There are a few companies that make it. You can find it on "Ebay" by searching for "Jetta Speaker adapter" Looks like they run $16 or less.
