I need to put new 4x6's in the dash of my new S10. I know it's a bad size, but I was just looking for some input on what you guys think is a good pair of 4x6's. I had some Infinity's in my last Blazer, but I'm looking for something different. I take suggestions! Thanks in advance fellas.

I carry a line of speakers made by a company called Clif Designs. They started in Califonia and got really big there. (from what I heard from the rep) The tweeter is almost flush with the woofer ,so they will fit behind most factory grills when other speakers tweeters will keep the grills from fitting right. They also sound great and put out good solid bass. If you want more info on them let me know. Brian

Brian,

I live in Des Moines, IA, which is pretty much the hell hole of the world when it comes to car audio. I can't find anywhere online or local that retails those speakers. Any help with pricing or retail/online places?

Got to like those CDTechs. Nice speakers, but I don't like the tweets.

It might sound cheap, but I have personally had really great experience with the Lanzar Vibe series coaxials. They have a really nice response with the tweeter being on the "bridge", w/o a hole being in the middle of the cone for the tweeter pole. I have installed the 4x6's, 5.25", 6.5" and the 3-way 6x9's. I had an excellent experience with all of them, and have yet to have any of them blow.

I would suggest some MB Quart DKD 146 https://www.mbquart.com/2003/en_US/products/prod_detail.asp?isArchive=&cat=auto&series=discus%20series&strt=1&model=DKD+146 can’t go wrong with the good old Quart they always have exceptional SQ and quality.

You can find them on eBay for about $50 https://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?cgiurl=http%3A%2F%2Fcgi.ebay.com%2Fws%2F&krd=1&from=R8&MfcISAPICommand=GetResult&ht=1&SortProperty=MetaEndSort&query=+DKD+146+
But I would suggest you buy them from an authorized dealer so you get a legit warrantee
