eclipse 1200 za mono d block
when ignition is turn turned on amp lights up on the top bar for a brief second then goes off. there is no diagnostic light that is labelled so i assume that is it. when ignition is turned off same thing occurs. it was working fine until the speaker box containing an l7 12" needed to be removed. wiring appears to be fine and connected properly. the website for eclipse offers absolutely no help. no manual.

350z 2005
rockford fostgate punch 400
eclipse 1200za
capacitor then power to distribution block then to both amps
grounded all to same spot
no mistreatment that i am aware of
other amp appears to be fine.

help

any suggestions?

Disconnect all speaker wires and the RCA jacks, does it still behave the same way?  Have you used a volt meter to verify that it is getting constant power, remote power and has a good ground?
