Have:   a Sirius SCC1 connected to a Pioneer SB10 connected to a Pioneer 8300 (satilite radio ready radio).

Problem:  Pioneer headunit recognizes the sirius however Keeps saying "acquiring signal" (may get signal very very breify but thats about it)

What I have down:  Checked connections from each unit, moved the antenna around and even replaced the antenna on the SCC1.

Does my problem sound like a Bad SCC1 ?   anyone have any experience with these things?

Jason

Make sure you have the proper inputs and outputs going to the right place on the SB10 and the SCC1. Similar problem with an Alpine unit we had and ended up that it was plugged into the wrong input on the Alpine adapter module.

turned out to be a bad turner.

if it gets stuck on "acquring signal". (1) reposition the antenna then (2) replace it, then (3)  try a different tuner (SCC1 universal tuner in my case).

if the deck doesnt recognize the sirius, then its most likely the middle box (in my case the SB10). Check your input out put cables

Hope that helps someone that searches in the future.
