Hello everyone, I have always wanted a very good sound system but I have never really had time or money to invest in it. Finally, I just bought a new car (2001 Honda CR-V SE) and I decided I wanted to switch out the factory stereo system and put in a nice stereo system. Here is what I have so far:

Head unit: Alpine CDA-105 CD Receiver
Speaker system: Alpine Type-R SPR-17S - Car speaker system - 110 Watt - 2-way - component - 6.5
Amp: Alpine V Power MRP-F300 Amplifier (4-channel)
Subwoofer: Alpine Type-R Series SWR-1242D (12")
Sub. Box: Bassworx HPR12G Reference Single 12" Ported Enclosure

I am no expert and I have little idea of the compatibility of such equipment. I just need some advice on how this all works together and if I need any additional components. I am not looking to install it myself, I will probably have cartoys do it for me. Thanks for any advice!

That's a decent start.  Be prepared to pay for the proper wiring harness adapters when you have it installed.

As far as your subwoofer goes, make sure you atleast purchase an amplifier of 500 watts RMS stable at 4 ohm's
