ok so im restoring my 79 camaro and trying to decide if i should go with kicker or fosgate..ive had both in the past with good luck . the plan is 6.5s up front 6x9s in the rear deck of the head unit and two 10 dvcs on a mono amp at 2 ohms.the enclosure will be small sealed boxes around 1 cubic foot.

Kicker and fosgate are pretty similar in my mind. The fosgate of today is not the fosgate of 15 years ago when they were on top.

In any case, why are those brands your only choices? What are you using for a head unit and amps?

the reason i narrowed to them is from my past experiences... i havent decided on head unit yet and the amp will be brand matched to the subs. im trying to do this on a low budget since it will be in a weekend only car that im completely redoing so there is alot of money tied up in everything else...
