hello, i've got a customer that wants to keep his factory deck but run a aftermarket sub. i'm looking for the wiring on the deck for the rear speakers (useing a LOC for the RCA's) he doesn't have the full NAV system or 6 disk changer but he does have 6 speakers and it did have a factory sub.  thanks in advance

If it has a factory sub, you will have to get signal from the factory sub.  If it has a factory sub, chances are the door speaker outputs of the radio will be crossed over.  The only speaker that plays bass is the factory sub.

alright thanks. the only problem is when i checked the wires where the factory sub was I used my DMM to find the power and ground (incase the amp was built into the sub box...wasn't sure) but i had 6,3VDC on each of the 4 wires.

Each of those 4 wires were speaker wires.  There is a Dual Voice Coil woofer inside that box.  You will need to remove the woofer to see which wires are positive and negative.

would like to say thanks for the info..got everything connected and working tonight...the LOC used provided a remote on so that made things go really nice.
