I am having a problem with my Sony cdx-c4750 faceplate. I am trying to install it into my 1993 Honda del Sol. Everything works fine, except for all of the lights on the faceplate are lit up. It doesn't change when I change radio stations, or try to adjust settings. I have heard of faceplates not lighting up at all, but this one has me stumped. Sony.com says that my 16 pin harness should have an orange illumination wire on it. It doesn't. Anyone have any suggestions?

If every segment of the display is lit up, there is no wire that would make this happen.  I think your deck is broken.

I hate to hear that. I was afraid that might be the case. Thanks for your input. If anyone else may have ideas please let me know.
