hello I im have a problem with my subwoofers when they play they sound ok then all of a sudden they will get really loud and then go back down  anybody have any ideas what mite be causing this I tried deferent RCA's and put new 12 gage speaker wire from the subs all the way to the amp didn't help I have

Pioneer Premier AVIC-F90BT Receiver

(2) 12" Power Acoustik MOFO Subwoofers dual 2ohm

SPL FX1-5500D Amplifier

Tsunami HCAP-10 10 Farad

Most likely a defective amplifier.
