Im trying to find out what kind of load infinity kappa perfect components actually place at the amp. Ive seen specs on infinity's website that list it as 6 ohm and the next page on the same website for the same product will say 4 ohm.

when you tie the tweeter woofer and crossover together, what kind of load is that to the amp?

(unrelated) also, if an amp is stable to 2 ohm, and claims to produce 800 watts at rms at 2 ohm, what kind of power will it make at 2.66 ohm? will it even support that configuration?

Which Infinity's are you looking at?  The Perfect set is 4-ohms.  The Kappa line is 2-ohms.  The rating on an amplifier is the LOWEST load it can handle.  Any impedance greater than the lowest listed will work just fine.  Don't worry about the power it will produce.

Because even at loud volumes you'll only be using 20 watts or so.

i wasnt talking about the kappas with that question.

That question refers to a mono amp powering subwoofers
