i have a 2001 dodge durango trying in install an after market stereo and can't get any sound out of the speakers. the radio comes on and cd players runs but no sound out of the speakers. it can with a factory infinity stereo system and speakers. any help would be greatly appreciated

Since you have the factory Infinity system, that means you have a factory amp that needs to be turned on. If you bought harness adapters to plug onto the factory plugs, is there a blue wire with a white stripe on one of the harness adapters? if so you will need to connect it to the "remote" wire of your head unit. It would help to know what kind of head unit you are installing, but I believe that all you need to do is connect this wire.
