I saw someone that had installed 2 alpine amps in a GTI one time that had a bridge between the two amps that made it look like one big amp. Does anyone know where i can find one of these?

This was the heatsink they made for vaious V12 amplifiers. You can probably find them if you search for Alpine v12 heatsink in a search engine.

I tried looking for it, but couldn't find it. I am trying to make my mrv-1507 and my mrv-f407 look like they are just one big amp and to have no wires show in between the amps. Could it possibly be a customthing i ahve to get? Or did alpine themselves make it?

I don't think Alpine made heatsink extensions for that model year. I believe they quit making them in 2000-01.

why use a metal shop? a screwdriver, a hacksaw, and a file (to clean up the edges) is all you'd need. not to mention that a metal shop is gonna charge some of your hard earned $$$$ that could be better spent on other components

I believe the part number was a KTE-103M. I had two; one between two MRV-T757's, and one between two MRV-F407's. Maybe you can find one on ebay. If not and you just HAVE to have one, send me an email and maybe we can work something out. I have a couple of pics, but the files are too large to upload on here.

thank you so much epicminis, that is exactly what i was looking for. Unfortunately i could not find any for sale anymore, but do know that is the name of what was being sold to bridge the two amps together.
