The short of my problem is that I've got too many outputs and not enough inputs. My head unit has 3, 4 volt pre-outs (Front, Rear, and Sub) but I am adding a line driver/EQ similar to the Clarion EQS746 which only has one input.

Even though the EQ has 3 outputs and it says to use the front channel out of the head unit for the input source, am I loosing anything by not utilizing the rear and sub channels from the head unit?

I bought this unit (Wetsounds WS420) to go in my boat but didn't realize it only had one input. I'm debating on using it and was wondering what most of you would suggest.

Any guidance would be appreciated.

You'll lose the fader from your deck.  It'll need to be adjusted at the EQ.

Thanks, kind of thought so. Do all of the three outputs (Front, rear, sub) put out the full range of frequencies but require you to adjust the frequencies from the head unit or is say the Sub output only generating the lower frequencies?

No, just the front and rear; the sub output only sends low frecuencies. I'd connect the sub output from the deck to the sub amp so you can control it from there.
