Has anyone used or seen this adapter??? I'm assuming that it would get rid of your onstar and it also says there is less signal strength.

I've seen these before. Its basically an adapter to use the factory XM antenna on an aftermarket Sirius or XM unit. I dont believe it affects OnStar at all. The factory XM antennas have a different plug end on them than the aftermarket do so it converts it to something that will plug into the aftermarket unit.

I actually found out its really easy to do. Just go to the Factory Digital Radio Receiver in your vehicle, take the plastic off the connector and it looks identical to the sirius antenna end. You can just plug it right into Sirius unit. You do lose a bit of sound quality but its worth it, no more scratches on the roof. :) Before I did this I had 3 bar signal and after it was 2.
