What could cause an amp to not turn on?  Assumeing that the wires are correct??

faulty power relay in the amp itself or faulty remote wire from the head unit...

or maybe you have overloaded the remote wire from the deck (using too many amps or crossovers/eqs, etc...) and there are too many components competing for the power and none of them will turn on...
