Hey guys. I need to find out what the shops around the country charge for insurance work. I am setting up a deal with an insurance company to do installs on cars that have been ripped off. What do you get for a basic deck install? Do you get more to replace A/C controls or do you throw that in? How much for an amp replacement? Door speakers? Whatever you run into.
Also, do insurance companiess pay you in a timely manner or do they wait a month or 2 before you get paid. Anybody who has done insurance work please let me know your experiances.
Thanks, Marc In Lodi

Well i can tell you some prices in my area but as far as working with insurance companies not really sure on that.
Deck Install--47.99 hardwire is another 31.00
Speakers--31.99/pair
2ch amp--54.99
4ch amp--64.99
Thanks man. Anybody else want to compare install rates across the country. Maybe some of us are working to cheap. Nobody wants that!

These are our current install rates at Best Buy (in Maryland). I think installation prices for all stores are set at the regional level but they might be company wide...I'm not totally sure. In our area these prices are actually pretty competitive with most of the local shops.

speakers: 40.99 per pair
2 channel amp: 55.99
4 channel amp: 65.99
