I have a 1996 BMW M3 and I want to install two amplifiers in my car. One is a MTX 564 that requires 80 amp fuse and the other is a Kicker 1200.1 that needs a 150 amp fuse. I plan on running two 4 gauge wires, but I was wondering if I could hook them up to a distribution block?

The battery is in the trunk, and normally I would just use two separate fuse holders, but I have this nice fused distribution block, and I was wondering if I could just use it to fuse the wire.

And if I could, would it be safe to have two separate fuses in the same distribution block? The block is (2) 0-4 gauge into (4) 4-8 gauge.

Thanks

It should be fine, BUT remember that the fuse in the battery wire is to protect the WIRE, NOT the amp.  Make sure fuses are as close to the battery as possible. second, do you have enough alternator to support this current demand?, and last, make sure you upgrade the "big three"  (search this forum for what that is if you dont know)
