Looking for some opinions!!  Which is better as far as sound.  Obviously the newer Comp VR's have some major advantages in design but as far as output which is better!  Round Solo's or 2003 Comp VR's

I currently have 1 4 Ohm ROUND Solo (12), running off a PPI A600 (Old art series), and I love it.

I want to squeeze either 3 OLD Solobarics or 3 Comp VR's into the back of my Dodge Durango.  Call me old fashioned but I would rather run 3 Solo's but finding them in good condition and the right Ohms is rough and I would most likely have to install my PPI A300 as well.  Putting the 3 Comp Vr's would be much easier due to the DVC's and the availability of them but I'm scared to go with something new (just look at my amps, PPI A600, PPI A300, and PPI AX400 all old Art Series that I refuse to part with).

Help me out guys, throw me your opinions

I would have to go with the CompVRs...

I honestly do think they sound a bit better than the round Solos...with the added bonus of a warranty, getting a *new* product that no one has abused, flexibility, and some technological advances...

the old Solos were a decent sub, but I think you will be just as happy or even moreso with the CompVRs...
