I know Kenwood has good cd players but I found their amplifier on sale the Kenwood KAC-7201 800 watts for a decent price and I was wondering if this would be a good deal to pump 2 15" Fosgate Punch Z 400 watt subs.

yea that amp will do you just fine. Just remember to make sure it is properly connected and that you watch out for proper ventilation as well as don't push it past its designed limits.

When you say well ventilated does that mean mounted my amp under my seat in not a good place.........
