I have a 2011 ford fiesta hatch. Can anybody help me, Im having problems how to wire my system. This are items i have to install.
1. Stock head unit (will be using speaker input to the amp)
2. clarion XR 2410 60x4@4ohms
3. morel maximo 6.5 90wtts RMS component speakers
4. boston acoustics SE65RC coaxial speakers
5. Bazooka tube BTA6100 amplified sub
This are the options i have:
Option 1.
Run the front and rear speakers with the 4 ch amp and tap the amplified sub in between the HU and the amp of the rear speaker wires.
Option 2.
From the head unit front speaker wires i connect to the 1ch and 2ch of the amplifier- to power the front speaker. Again, from the head unit rear speaker wires i connect directly to my amplified sub. And disregard the rear speakers and the 3ch and 4ch of my amp.
Among the 2 options. Which will be the best installation to have better sound quality? Better options of what i have now, will be very much appreciated.
Connect the inputs of the amplified sub and the rear inputs of the amp to the rear wires of the deck.
Does the amp have a set of RCA jacks labeled output?
Yes, the amp has RCA jacks but my head unit does not have. That's why i was thinking of using the front speaker wire of the head unit to connect to the amp's 1 ch and 2 ch to power my front component speakers using speaker input. And from the head unit rear speaker wire, i will connect my amplified sub. And disregard 3 and 4 ch of the amp and also my rear speakers.
My 4 channel amp has a rating of 60x4@4 ohms; 90x4@2 ohms and 100x2@4 ohms bridged. And my component speaker is rated 90 watts RMS. Can i run component speakers using a bridge application? Or bridging an amp is only applied for subwoofers?
This is what i plan to do with my system:
From the stock head unit- front speaker wire - i connect to the amp using speaker high level input- from amplifier i bridge the amp 1 and 2 ch for the front left speaker and 3 and 4 ch for the front right speaker.
From the stock head unit- rear speaker wire- i connect to my amplified sub (bazooka bta 6100 w/sub remote and speaker input 2 ohm).
Would you recommend using rear fills?
My application if i use a rear fill:
From the stock head unit- rear speak wire - i connect my coaxial speakers and tap my amplified sub on the rear speaker wires.
Please give me 1 best option i could do that would give me the best sounding set-up that my system has to offer. Thank you
Yes you can bridge 1 and 2 for one side and 3 and 4 for the other. Earlier, I asked if your amp had a set of RCA jacks labeled OUTPUT? But if you are going to use this current configuration, that no longer matters.
You can wire the rear speakers as well as the bazooka input wires to the rear channel of your deck. The input impedance of the amp is probably around 10,000 ohms. Nothing will be wired 2 ohms at your deck.
