Hi, I have a 2002 jeep grand cherokee that I want to put a good stereo system.  It doesn't have any after market speakers in it except for the two 12'' subs in the back. What is the best sounding and the LOUDEST 6x9s I should get for the front (that also has tweeters that does not need a amp for it) but I might put an amp in it some day. And what kind of 6'' speakers would you recommend in the back door?

Lound and Clear is almost never achieved without an amplifier.

LOL!
And some argue "never clear" with an oval (6x9).
[Not that I use them now, but IMO way back then I thought they were ok.]

buy efficient ones lke infinity or polk would be my recommedation.

i run them from pioneer HUs fequently with decent success.

but asking them to keep up with two 12 inch subs and no external amps is a dream that will never be a reality.

Efficient = Sensitivity  look for the highest number in this field.  a rating of 92 dB/watt/meter is going to be a more efficient speaker than one that is rated at 88 dB/watt/meter.

I have stock speakers and they sound alright but the cant handel bass at all. what kind of amp should i get i have a two channel 250 watt sony explod but i hate it. but whoud that be ok for the speakers? i was looking at the Infinity Kappa 693.9i - Car speaker - 110 Watt - 3-way - 6" x 9". is that fine? I put some cheap dual 6.5 in the back and they SUCK, can i hook a cross over so the bass want go through them?

why would you need your speakers to handle bass if you have two 12's in the back? its unnecessary and makes your speakers more vulnerable to being blown and it makes them sound distorted when you listen to songs with heavy bass.
