going to try running only midbass in my rear deck, have 125w RMS.

i have 6x9 cutouts stock, and do not want to modify the sheet metal, and i do not have room to make custom enclosures.

looking for some really good punchy midbass.

What sort of crossover are you using and what pass band do you want?

since i can't edit posts...

I want to stay away from CDT because i purchased a set of 6x9 midbass that literally lasted 5 minutes at less than RMS power on music, exchanged them for the same, and the same happened again.

here are a few i'm looking at for around $300:

I would just use the woofer from this set:

I would love to use something like these, but i don't have room for the enclosure:

Thoughts and opinions are appreciated.

currently i only have my amp for HP/LP filters. i don't have the knowledge to build my own x-over, nor the time to learn right now, or i'd do an active setup for my whole car.

basically i'm looking for the mid to pick up around 80hz and continue up to 2000-ish. my components should be able to cover it from there
