I really like my powered 8" sub in the trunk. I am looking for suggestion for a pair 6.5 speakers to replace a 8" sub to empty my trunk. Thanks in advance.

We (or at least I) need more information. What kind of car do you have? Are you trying to find some 6.5s to put into the factory 8 inch location?

Sorry for not providing enough information. The car is a '97 Maxima. Factory rear deck is 6.5s. Currently I 2-way 6.5s in the front and rear and a powered 8" boxed sub in the trunk. I would like to get rib of boxed sub because I need the space. People have been talking about a 8" sub has better low frequency that a pair 6.5 speakers. I personally have not experience it in person.

A few newbie questions.
1. I am looking for a pair of drop-in 6.5s for the rear deck that can come close to one 8" boxed sub in the trunk if it is not too pricy?
2. Will people seating in rear hearing just the low without the high if having a pair of 6.5 woofers in the rear deck?
3. I guess there is no 2-way 6.5s with a good woofer/bass?

Thanks.

Tang Band makes a decent 6.5" subwoofer.  A pair have better output than a single 8" subwoofer.  They are sold by Parts Express in the US.
