A customer of mine just installed a Panasonic CD player in his new Vibe and at low volume, there is a hissing sound coming through the speakers and seems to go away when you turn it up. Any suggestions on what might be causing it? I already checked all connections and they seem to be fine.

Is the hiss there in both sources ( radio & CD player ) ?

Are you sure it goes away or are you just drowning it out? Also is he using the factory amp?
