Hi i have a 1ohm stable amp and about to fit 5 DVC 4 ohm subs ... and i'm trying to get 1ohm load i can do this by 4 subs @ 8ohms then 1 sub @ 1ohm = 1ohm total load .... would this be ok what about the effect on the one sub thats ran at 1ohm will this get more or less power than the others is there a chance of blowing it before others
Thanks
Mark

The woofer wired as a 2 ohm driver will be getting the same power as the other 4. The other 4 will have that same power distributed equally across them. The other woofer will be pounding, and the 4, not so much. Wire all of the woofers as 8 ohm and parallel them at the amp.
