Hey guys, have a little dilemma here. I am working on my system in my '11 Sonata. It has the basic radio in it, no nav, no external amps or anything. The volume has a range of 0-35, after 27 it cuts the bass output. I do currently have a pair of 10w7's installed, running off a Kenwood 9105d, I am using the amps built in line level connector. Lets just say the subs aren't breaking a sweat, even at full volume.
I plan to swap the door speakers in the future too, but for right now, I just need my bass back. I will not be replacing the HU as I like the way it looks/fits the car, I don't want to mess with modules to keep my steering wheel controls and bluetooth, and it's a lease, chances are I'm going to buy it out anyway though.
What should I get?
The AudioControl LC6i seems perfect. I can sum the front and rear ins to the sub out, and I will be set with pre-outs for the future when I replace and amp the door speakers. But will this solve the bass cutting out after vol 27?
Then there is JL Cleansweep. Seems like it would fix the issue of the bass cutting out, but it only has 4ch preouts, so I would have to daisy chain a couple amps, and the sub would not be front and rear summed. And if it doesn't fix the bass cutout, I would have to calibrate it to the HU at 27, and use the JL knob for volume I assume, which I'm not crazy about.
I am actually MECP certified, but I've been out of the game for about 5 years, a little rusty, and I've never had to deal with one of these factory stereos that mess with the audio. This is my first car newer than a '99, I'm used to the simple audio installs lol.

Eh, guess no one knows?
Oh well, I bought the LC6i. Hope I didn't just waste my money.
