Hi there audio enthusiast. I have two RE audio SEx 10" subs d4, powered by an RE xt-4000DE v3 amplifier. Is it ok to enclose one sub and port the other. It's going in a 1985 Chevy c10. It's a single cab truck that has been dynomatted in someone's backyard. Lol. I'm looking for the best of both worlds with these subs. I'm trying to get the beloved kick from one 10" and the bass hittin lows from the other. They seem capable of doing so. Would it make any sense to proceed with this theory?

Do a google search of this site (see top of this page) for best of both worlds.  I'm willing to bet you'll find plenty of questions very similar to yours.  I'll bet you'll also find just one common answer to them all.

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

Would making either of the boxes a different size than the other help with the scrambled bass due to the delay time of the ported box?

If you used both types of subs there would necessarily be a large difference in the sizes of the two boxes.  For use in your small pickup truck cabin and with that particular subwoofer, I'd recommend you set your sights on building a quality sealed enclosure for the two subs.

Have you looked yet at the info over to the left in the blue panel?  Look at https://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/boxcalcs.asp and https://www.diysubwoofers.org/car/caraudiosub.htm
