I have a 2005 hu in a Tahow with a tape deck. What is the easiest way to modify this unit to have an AUX input?

The easiest way is to purchase a new head unit. Or you could probably use a PAC AAI-GM12 interface device. Check to make sure it is compatible with yiour vehicle before you order.
