Alright so I got my system a couple weeks ago and have to say it thumps pretty hard but i notice when I turn the volume up it hits a certain point where i can no longer "feel" the bass, I just hear it and when I turn it back down it goes right back to the way it was. Any suggestions? posted_image

Sounds like you're finding the clipping point of the amp or of your head unit.  Try setting the gain properly and see if it's better. (See Hot Topic forum for how to.)

Alright, I'll check that out..I also forgot to mention that it only does it on select songs, I really don't know how to explain it. I will take a video later to see if the mic pics up the difference.

Gain on amp, Sub volume on H/U most likely :-) +1 to Dyhon

Just a stab in the dark, but worth saying. The "loud" feature on head units does the same thing. If you have "loud" on, then you will be bass heavy up to a certain volume. Then once you make it louder then that point, the "loud" feature is automatically disable until you go back under that point again. If that's the case, your crossover points, gains and EQ settings will need to be readjusted with the "loud" feature off.

Good point - "Loud" is usually intended to boost bass at lower volumes.

First set your gain properly and then report back.
