setting my mono block and 4 channel amp?

Lows: I have a mono block 3200 watt planet audio amp pushing my 2 CVR 12's

Mids/Highs: i have a 4 channel 1600 watt planet audio amp powering my 2 D series pioneer components with tweets on a passive Xover and 2 D series 2 ways in the back.

I need help setting all the high pass low pass etc etc. im a beginner on that part. i dont have any fancy SMD tools because i see no point in paying 250$ for something ILL rarely use.

So heres a chart, someone help me fill in;

Also try to use the amplifier as much as possible for your filtering, meaning leave your deck adjustments set at zero.
It seem like you have a range of adjustments on them.
no bass boost on the amp, I find that it muddies the output.
Basically play around with it until it sounds right to you.
Dont use the gain as a volume control though!
Subsonic filter will help seeing as how you are using a ported box.

Like low range on my sub amp should be where? So that it only takes deep bass my full range and 2 ways can't handle. I need typical numbers so i dont put high freq on my subs etc !

Subsonic:at the tuning frequency of your sub box's port. if you don't know then between 25Hz and 45Hz(15Hz-45Hz)

Bass Boost: 0 but you can play with it once everything else is set. just keep it relatively low  (0 - +18dB)
Low Pass:see note below next to HFF (50Hz-150Hz)
phase: this is something you must use your ears and play with. typically little difference is noticed but it can make big difference in some setups (0 or 180)

If you have a smart phone there are Apps that can generate different frequencies typically named "sign wave generators" or "signal generators". use a 50Hz signal to set the gain on your subs and a 70~80Hz signal to your full range speakers.

I have been wanting to hear those speakers for a long time let me now what size they are and how they sound!!!!! people are always giving them really good reviews.

the pioneer D series? i havent heard the components yet but the 2-ways sound pretty good for what they are. i set my friend up with 6x8's all around his f250 and they sound good but they are running from his factory radio so i know they can sound a whole lot better on an amp. also i put the 4" 2-ways in the top compartment of an 18-wheeler and those little speakers out shined two other sets of 6x9's all on an amp. very impressive id say.

Thanks for the review. I had been Eyeing them for a project for about 6 months now. I will be using the 5-1/4" coaxial's and powering them with one of the 100w X 6 ch Sure amps from Parts Express.

Hey yea Im slowly making progress, I almost got in an accident Thursday and sliding made all my subs slide forward and it ripped my power and ground cable out of the terminals so I had to deal with that crap. Right now I'm trying to tune the amps. It's pretty confusing reading the above posts. The speakers sound really great so far though! They just need to be tuned properly.

Yea it can be tedious the first time (a lot of trial and error?). Let us know if you have any specific questions or if we can clarify something.

Just make sure you read the how to set your gains sticky thoroughly. I've read it three to five times myself just to memorize it.

So I've Set my gains at a good level now frequency wise I'm having trouble. My 4 channel amp is both on HPF . But setting my hz on everything is still confusing. My speakers are getting too much bass? Plus wouldn't the settings on my full ranges in the back be different from my settings on my 2 ways? They have a passive crossover

If your speakers are the same size diameter and they are both D series then they should have almost identical frequency response's. Also the Coaxial speakers do have a much smaller crossover built onto them.

If they are getting too much bass then you need to turn the crossover frequency to a higher frequency (typically between 70-100Hz).
