Folks-

I've been trying to figure out the Clarion DRX9175L head unit that came along with the used car I just bought.  For some reason, the bass and treble controls have been disabled.  I've tried the recommendations on Clarion's website (BAND+PRESET#3 buttons simultaneously), to no avail.  I've tried the hard reset  - no use.

Has anyone out there had this problem (and fixed it)?  I'd appreciate any help on this - it just doesn't sound right, and I'm not interested in paying 80 or 100 bucks to have an "authorized dealer" push a couple of buttons..if that's the fix.

I don’t know how you turn on or off the bass and treble controls, but if you want to reset the head all you need to do is disconnect the cars battery.
