I'm looking for a GREAT 6.5 to put in my doors to really bring out some strong mid bass and quality sound. What I have is a really good set of mb quarts premiums, but I am looking for GREAT ! I've had quite a few people swear by these, but nobody has them lol.....anyone familiar with them ? I'm looking to order asap so any quick info will be appreciated.

the MB quarts are ok in my opinion, they are more tweeter than anything else. a friend of mine has 6 sets of the premium components and they sound ok, more loud than sound quality. i have never heard those cdt's but my favorite mid of all time is the diamond HEX S600S component system. they arent cheap but they arent ridiculously expensive either and they have a silk or aluminum option for the tweeter.

on a side note, what part of louisiana are you in? im in the new orleans area.

CDT makes decent stuff. I don't know if I'd call them great. What's your budget and what are you using for crossovers?
