I am currently running a 15" Rockford Fosgate T2 on a Memphis Audio PR1000.1 amplifier and have recently got a really good deal on an MTX Jackhammer 1200 amplifier. Would the MTX be better than the Memphis Audio? The Memphis Audio says it runs 1000watts stable at 1 ohm, but my sub is rated 1200watts RMS. I just want more booming bass!!

By "got a really good deal" do you mean you already got it, or are thinking about getting it? If you already have it, just wire it in and see if it makes a difference!
