I have a Tahoe with a stock 6 speaker setup(2 in the front doors,2 in the rear doors , and 2 in the ceiling above the rear hatch.). When installing the new head unit, all the speakers work except the 2 rear door speakers, but when I put the stock head unit back in all work. How do I get these 2 to work with my other deck? Are these spliced in with the 2 in the rear?

Did you use a wiring harness when you hooked up the aftermarket head unit? (hopefully!!).  If you did, compare the pins in the harness, with the pins in the back of the factory radio.  There may be additional ones in the factory radio that are not present in the aftermarket harness, and if so, it is possible that these wires are for those extra 2 rear speakers.  But beware that If the vehicle has steering wheel audio controls, those extra wires could also be for those as well.

the rear speakers are not working simply because their is a factory amp playing them. you can use the amp turn-on wire from the aftermarket harness to turn it on, or you can bypass the amp. the amp is either under the dash, right of the gas pedel or under the drivers seat. the rear speakers are paralleled with the 4 x 10's in the rear.

That's what I assumed too, until I saw he said that 2 of the 4 rear speakers ARE still working with the aftermarket head unit....
