Hello,

 1st post!

Just got a pair of Kicker DS35 Coaxial's for the dash. I didn't see any crossovers on them and was wondering what type to use, if any? I'd imagine I'd want these to play 500Hz and up?

Thanks for the help!

There is a capacitor somewhere on the speaker.  The only crossover the driver needs is that capacitor.  It blocks the lower frequencies that could damage the tweeter.  On coaxial speakers, a crossover component or components for the larger driver are almost non existant.

Do you have an amplifier connected to these speakers?   If so, are these speakers the only drivers on those 2 channels of the amp?

I figured there had to be one for the tweet, but I diodn't see it?

At this time, they're not hooked up to anything. I'm just getting all the components together before I install them. The plan is to have them with running off a Orion 225HCCA with a pair of KS60 and KS65 Kickers in the doors.
