With the lack of space and large crossovers, I have no room to mount them up front. So I was thinking mounting them in the hatch with the amps.
Is it bad to have the crossovers located near the amps vs near the speakers?
I'd say it's a 10-12ft wire run x 2 for each side. I was planning on using 12ga wire. Not sure if that's too much or not.
It's for an Acura RSX. Amp is Alpine PDX F4 with Rainbow SLC 265 Kicks.

There will be no problems at all.
ditto..... as long as the wire has nothing silly like being coiled or wrapped around something like a support bar multiple times on its way to the speaker.

If your system moves you physically and not emotionally, you have wasted your money.

ok great. Most likely i'll run it along the RCA's through the center console.
The power wire i'm going to run it on the left side of the vehicle so it doesn't interfere.
What gauge wiring do you recommend? 16, 14, or 12ga ?

considering your amp and speaker choice, the 16 should work excellent.
dont forget .. since the crossovers are in the rear, you will need to run twice as many wires. make sure and tag them well so you dont confuse your highs and lows when hooking up.

I just run a band of colored electrical tape at the ends to tell which is which.
